Marcella* has been working with advocates to set goals and forge a new path for herself and children that provides stability and safety. She was recently offered a job with a requirement of being able to work from home one day a week. Always remember that if you want to help your community thrive and get back up from poverty and hardship, persons need the helping hands that give them food, shelter, health care, respect and opportunity. The ability to communicate, learn, stay connected to the world, when they also need access to food shelter, social activities, reach social and medical services, employment opportunities/communications, reach family, as well as public transportation options, is what having the common electronics (cellphones + laptops + pads) does for ALL citizens.
The E-RecyclingPDX.com was founded by two businesses owners, Gary Dunsworth & Michelle Lagos that care to give back in the best way we are skilled to and need your support to do MORE. Each year your laptop and cellphone donations MAKE A DIFFERENCE. The donated items that can be refurbished are given out to 4 local non-profits in PDX, that uses these items for in-house resources for staff, and the persons they’re supporting, as well as donating them to residents and guests that are making every effort they can to GET BACK UP. This year consider becoming a Supporter or Donor. The couple of restaurant meals you skip will be the cellphone or laptop someone is talking to family and new employer through.
